Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Sobrana processes account, wardrobe, photo, AI, weather, diagnostics, feedback, and support data.
What Sobrana does
Sobrana is a digital wardrobe and outfit recommendation app. It helps users create wardrobe item cards, store garment photos, plan outfits, receive weather-aware suggestions, and use AI-assisted item recognition and image processing.
Data we may process
- Account data, including email address, Supabase authentication user ID, and support ID.
- Profile settings, including display name, city, language, style preferences, stylist settings, and optional avatar.
- Wardrobe data, including garment photos, metadata, categories, colors, seasons, comfort temperature ranges, saved outfits, planner entries, wear history, collections, and wishlist-style entries.
- AI processing data, including garment photos, visible attributes, recognition confidence, and enhancement job status.
- Weather data, including selected city, optional approximate location if enabled, and weather cache data.
- Diagnostics, including app version, device information, network diagnostics, error context, and support reports.
- Push notification data, including Expo push token, notification permission status, platform, app version, device label, last seen timestamp, and limited single-user test delivery audit metadata when notifications are allowed.
- Feedback and support submissions, including optional email address, feedback type, message, platform, app version, device model, language, page URL, user agent, timestamp, and limited anti-spam or rate-limit metadata where required.
Why we use data
We use data to create and sync a wardrobe, generate outfit recommendations, recognize garment attributes, remove backgrounds or enhance images when requested, adapt suggestions to weather and preferences, support account deletion, register devices for notifications when allowed, improve stability, respond to support requests, receive beta access requests, triage bug reports, understand product improvement ideas, and prevent abuse of public feedback forms.
Service providers
Sobrana currently uses Supabase for authentication, database, and storage; OpenAI for AI recognition of garment photos and attributes; FAL for background removal and image processing where enabled; weather providers such as Open-Meteo through the Sobrana backend; Expo for push notification token handling and delivery when enabled; and the Sobrana backend/VPS for API mediation, diagnostics, feedback intake, and account deletion.
Photos and AI processing
When a user uploads or takes a garment photo, Sobrana may use it to create a wardrobe item card, recognize visible attributes, remove the background, and create enhanced item images when the user requests those features.
Push notifications
If a signed-in user allows notifications, Sobrana may register an Expo push token for that device. Internal administrators may send a single-user test notification for support or delivery diagnostics. Users can deny notification permission, disable notifications in device settings, sign out, or delete their account.
Sharing and retention
Sobrana does not sell user data. Data is shared with service providers only when needed to provide the app functionality described above. User-owned data is retained until the user deletes the item, changes the setting, or deletes the account, unless limited retention is required for legal, security, billing, anti-fraud, or operational reasons. Feedback and support submissions are retained for a limited period needed for support, bug triage, product improvement, beta access management, abuse prevention, and operational record keeping.
User controls and account deletion
Users can edit profile and stylist settings, change weather city, deny optional permissions, disable notifications in device settings, edit or delete wardrobe items, sign out, and delete their account and related data. See the account deletion page for details.
